Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL)

A Brazilian butt lift is a specialized fat transfer technique that improves the buttocks' size and form without using implants. Liposuction is used to remove extra fat from the hips, abdomen, lower back, or thighs; some of this fat is then properly injected into the buttocks.

Brazilian butt lift surgery can reshape the buttocks and surrounding areas, including the hips, lower back, and thighs.  You may want to think about getting a Brazilian butt lift to enhance your lower body's curves, give your buttocks more volume, make clothing fit more beautifully, and give your flat buttocks a more youthful, aesthetically desirable shape.

Smokers should give up smoking at least two-three weeks before surgery, as is advised for all procedures. The patient should let his doctor know what medications he or she is taking. Before surgery, blood thinners may need to be changed or stopped. Don't take alcohol and supplements for one week before the procedure. 

The operation is performed under general anesthesia and duration of the surgery is around 3-4 hours. After their procedure, our patients spend one night in the hospital before being discharged the next day.

After the procedure, a compression garment is used to reduce swelling and aid in body contouring. It is recommended to use the corset for 6 weeks. After surgery, patients should begin light walking around the room.  Your drains will get removed some days after the surgery (depending on the amount of fluid). The first shower after surgery is usually taken on the fourth day, and you can return to work within 10 to 14 days.

As you must avoid any pressure on the butt area for the first three weeks after the surgery, you are not permitted to sit or rest directly on your buttocks. You will have to sleep on your stomach during this period and either lie this way or stand. Sitting is only permitted with the special BBL-Pillow that we provide. After procedure, we recommend our patients manual lymphatic drainage massages for 6 weeks.
