Thigh Lift

A thigh lift is a procedure that involves the removal of skin, fat, and other soft tissues from the upper leg (thigh) region. The goal is to improve contours by reducing bulk and loose soft tissues.

Because of the structure of the skin and subcutaneous tissue in this area, laxity and sagging may be troubling depending on age, after bariatric surgery, or after rapid, significant weight loss. If your fitness and weight-control efforts have not resulted in a firmer, more youthful-looking,  a surgical lift may be the answer. The goal of the thigh lifting procedure is to achieve a more taut, smooth line on the inner side of the leg.

Smokers should give up smoking at least two-three weeks before surgery, as is advised for all procedures. The patient should let his doctor know what medications he or she is taking. Before surgery, blood thinners may need to be changed or stopped. Don't take alcohol and supplements for one week before the procedure.

The operation is performed under general anesthesia and duration of the surgery is around 2 hours. After their procedure, our patients spend one night in the hospital before being discharged the next day.

You will wear a corset for six weeks after the procedure. The first shower after surgery is usually taken on the fourth day, and you can return to work within 10 to 14 days.
