Male Breast Reduction - Gynecomastia

Gynecomastia is an excessive breast expansion in men that causes the breast to be the same size as a woman’s. It causes psychological issues that have an impact on social lives in addition to aesthetic discomfort.

Male breast reduction surgery would use liposuction and/or surgically removing extra glandular tissue to minimize overly grown male breasts and nipples. You should stop smoking two weeks before the procedure. Don't take blood thinning medication, alcohol and supplements for one week before the procedure. 

The operation is performed under general anesthesia and duration of the surgery is around 2 hours. After their procedure, our patients spend one night in the hospital before being discharged the next day.

After seven days, the patient is able to resume work. After two to three weeks, more demanding activity may be resumed. The majority of the bruising and swelling will go away in three to six months.
